Rooftop Cinema Club
Hi everyone, Happy Saturday! Today on the blog I’m giving a little review of Houston’s newest attraction: Rooftop Cinema Club!
Rooftop Cinema Club is an awesome outdoor theater located at 1700 Post Oak Blvd, 77056. The theater is at the top level of the Uptown parking garage overlooking the prettiest Houston skyline. Rooftop doesn’t play the newest movies, instead they screen all of the favorite classics!
Since the theater is literally in the middle of the loud city, each viewer is given a set of headphones to watch the film. Everyone sits in lounge seats and you can purchase single seats or couple’s seats. Tickets are bought in advance but seating is first come first serve, so get there early! Doors normally open about and hour before the show, and I definitely recommend getting there as soon as doors open. They have lots of activities and food to enjoy before the show. They have a concession stand, full bar (for those 21+), and a pop-up from Good Dog gourmet hot dogs. We ended up getting hotdogs from Good Dog, $5 bottomless popcorn, and some sweets. They also have plenty of games like uno, cornhole, and even movie trivia before the show starts. Rooftop is 18+, but they occasionally have family nights where all are welcome. Also, parking is free, you just drive up onto the 5th floor of the garage where the theater is located…lots of spaces too! I recommend bringing your own blankets since it is outside and Houston is about to get really cold again!
Overall, Rooftop was one of the coolest date nights and I will definitely be going back. If you’re wanting to try it out, you can buy tickets HERE. P.S. this would be a really fun Christmas present idea!
