5 Things You May Not Know About Me

Hey everyone, happy Saturday!! Today I'm leaving for Canyon Lake after work so I'm super excited for this weekend! I normally do blog posts about where I'm traveling or what I'm wearing, so today I wanted to write a quick blog post that will help you get to know me a little better than what you see on social media! If you're one of my best friends (you know who you are), or my parents, then you probably know all of these... but these are just random little facts I wanted to share with those who don't see me all the time or those who've never met me! (P.S. If you scroll to the bottom you can shop this outfit)

1. I worked at Starbucks

I was a barista! After I got my license sophomore of High School I immediately wanted to get a job! That summer I lived with mostly my dad so I applied and got the job at the Kemah Boardwalk Starbucks. It was honestly a really easy job and I worked with awesome people! And Yes, I still know how to make all of the drinks!

2.  I'm Cuban

Yup, I'm 50% Cuban! My grandparents (my mom's mom and dad) escaped from Cuba in 1960 when they were younger and came to America. My mom is 100% Cuban and her first language was Spanish, but sadly she didn't keep up with the language so neither her or I know much Spanish. I do hope that one day I can visit Cuba and see where my family is from!

3. I have a Tattoo

Sorry grandparents if you're reading this.... but yes I have a super tiny tattoo! It's a small star and a crescent moon on my side. The tattoo is for my Granny who passed away when I was 10 years old. She was my absolute best friend and would always tell me "I love you more than all of the stars... and the moon too."

4. I have two brothers

I have one half-brother and one step-brother. My half-brother, Jeremiah, is almost 7 years old and is the cutest little ball of energy ever. My step-brother, Michael, is 22 years old and currently lives in Houston and is already adulting (yikes).

5. my curls were crazy

Okay so I always show people this picture when they ask what I looked like as a child, and it always seems to get a laugh or a "what in the world" out of people so I decided to share with you guys. So let me give you a backstory behind the image first.... when my parents got divorced and they both worked a bunch I was often taken care of by my grandparents. One day my mom asked my grandpa to take me to get a haircut while he was watching me. Well.... my grandpa is an engineer and believes he can do everything himself... so HE cut my hair. I ended up with this poofball and bangs.. thanks grandpa, haha.

Well that's all I have to share with you today! I hope this got a laugh out of you or helped you get to know me a little better! Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!!
