Yappy Summer Event + Shop the Market at Springwoods Village
Hi everyone! If you watched my stories these past weekend you might’ve seen me posting about the Yappy Summer Event in Spring, Texas. I wanted to give you all a recap of the super fun event and tell ya’ll about the Market at Spring Village which is where the event took place!
The Yappy Summer Event is a FREE annual pet friendly event with live music, vendor’s tents, lots of food, give-aways, photo-ops, and much more! I brought my mom and Deeg to this year’s event and it’s safe to say we all had a blast! First we ate some zucchini pasta and lemon chicken caesar salad from B. Good, a delicious vegan restaurant (they also threw in a new strawberry and basil smoothie). After eating we walked around and enjoyed meeting all of the vendors present. I tried some yummy poke from Lemon Shark Poke, picked Deeg up some doggie goods from Natural Pawz, met the sweet ladies of Cherry Blow Dry Bar and Edible Arrangements, scored some free Chick Fil A, checked out Postal Annex, and even had a slice of yummy MOD pizza! Plus every vendor had some type of giveaway going on which I thought was so fun!
We also got the cutest little balloon rainbow made for us and met Woody from Toy Story 4 (thanks to Enchanted Characters). They also had a caricature stand but Deeg wouldn’t sit still long enough for us to have our picture done lol. I think my favorite part of the event was definitely the photo booth bus! They had an adorable vintage van filled with a cute props and a camera! Deeg and I of course had to test it out, and we even got two free copies of our images.
All of the vendors were so friendly and welcoming, and I wanted to especially thank Banfield Pet Hospital for letting us hang out in their lobby to escape the heat. Deeg was a little overwhelmed from meeting new puppies and running around in the heat, and I needed a pet friendly place to let her cool off. The staff at Banfield Pet Hospital in the center were so sweet and gave us water and nice spot to hang out at while Deeg cooled down- talk about customer service!
Our visit to the Market at Springwoods Village wouldn’t have been complete without stopping for some pictures, and thankfully they had plenty of photo-ops. A cute balloon arch by Infante Creations, the angel wings mural painted specifically for furry friends, the #shopmasv sign.. and so much more!
Overall the event was so fun and I will hopefully be back next year! If you haven’t visited the Market at Springwoods Village- you should definitely make a trip soon! Their next upcoming event is a FREE Halloween Hop Trick or Treat on Saturday October 19th from 2-5 pm. The event will be a kid and pet friendly event with food, beverages, live music, face painting, balloon art, and so much more! Don’t miss it!
